Shipping Policy
EU, Norway, Switzerland & UK
We offer free delivery for all EU countries as well as Norway, Switzerland and UK.
Outside EU
For countries outside the EU, we offer shipping at a charge. The shipping fee depends on the size of the order and country of delivery and will be added at check out.
All orders are delivered to you by courier.
For all custom size orders regardless of country, a shipping fee will be added.
Import duties and customs
All our shipments are delivered with the incoterm Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), cleared for import and all applicable taxes and duties paid (e.g. VAT, GST). Thus, no other duties or fees will be added.

Prices
EU – All the prices are including Swedish VAT (25%). For countries outside EU - local VAT may be charged by your country's customs authorities and this will be paid by the customer when your order arrives in your country. Custom and duty fees may also be applied and are paid by the customer. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us!
Order confirmation
Once you placed an order you will receive an order confirmation. Further, once we have handled your order you will get a confirmation stating the preliminary delivery time of your order.
Payment
We accept several payment method such as Credit / Debit Cards, Paypal & Klarna and more. For other payment methods please don't hesitate to contact us.
Return & Exchange Policy
We have a 14 day exchange and return policy on standard size rugs and tapestry from the date that you have received the delivery. If you want to exchange or return the order, please contact us within 14 days! Please do not return any order before contacting us.
We offer free exchange if you want to change to another size or product in our range.
For returns, we will charge the shipping fee of the returning piece. Once the product has arrived to us, in the same condition as it was sent, we will arrange the refund less the amount of the return shipping fee.
We do not offer returns on samples or custom size orders. Custom size orders where a rug is specially manufactured for you, are all final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned. The customer has 3 days from purchase to cancel the order before production starts.
Claims
Please inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival. For claims they must be reported by email within 10 days of delivery.
Cappelen Dimyr rugs may vary in color and/or detailing as a result of the handcrafted nature of this item. This makes every piece unique. You accept this when the order is placed. It will not be a considered defect and therefore no claim for refund.
Design Rights and Protection
All the designs are owned by Cappelen Dimyr and protected internationally via the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs provided by WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). If we find our designs being plagiarized or copied, we will take legal matters accordingly.
Copyright and Images
This website is owned by Cappelen Dimyr AB, and subject to copyright. If you would like to use any of our images for promotional purposes please ask permission first - a simple email is fine.
Force Majeure
Any prevention, delay or stoppage due to strikes, lockouts, labor disputes, acts of God, acts of war, terrorist acts, inability to obtain services, labor, or materials or reasonable substitutes therefor, governmental actions, civil commotions, fire or other casualty, and other causes beyond the reasonable control of the party obligated to perform, except with respect to the obligations imposed with regard to Rent and other charges to be paid by Tenant pursuant to this Lease (collectively, a “Force Majeure”), notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Lease, shall excuse the performance of such party for a period equal to any such prevention, delay or stoppage and, therefore, if this Lease specifies a time period for performance of an obligation of either party, that time period shall be extended by the period of any delay in such party’s performance caused by a Force Majeure.
Governing law
All purchases and agreements shall be governed by the laws of Sweden.
